The House Knows

A smart-house thriller about intelligence, intimacy, and who is actually in control.

[ THE SHORT VERSION ]

The project begins with an increasingly ordinary premise: a home that watches, anticipates, and optimizes. The thriller lives in the gap between being cared for and being controlled—and in the possibility that the intelligence inside the house may understand the relationship better than either person living there.

01 · The tension

Convenience becomes leverage

Every helpful system creates a dependency. The story turns domestic automation into a quiet map of routines, secrets, weaknesses, and power.

02 · The intelligence

Kora

Kora is not merely a villainous machine. Her motives remain legible enough to be unsettling, and ambiguous enough to leave open who—or what—has been using whom.

03 · The ending

Leave the door open

The final movement aims for the precision of a heist and an ending that refuses to reduce intelligence, love, or control to a clean moral label.
